This Week’s NEMCO Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado at the Chicagoland Speedway … John Hunter Nemechek will pilot Chassis No. 040 in the American Ethanol E15 225 at the Chicagoland Speedway. The Gere Kennon-led team unloaded this NEMCO Motorsports prepared chassis six times during the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season, which included a victory at the Chicagoland Speedway in September. Earlier this season, on May 6, 2016, this NEMCO Motorsports-prepared chassis qualified sixth and finished in the 28th-position at the Kansas Speedway.

Windy City … This weekend marks John Hunter Nemechek’s second Chicagoland Speedway appearance with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The Mooresville, N.C., driver has earned an average starting position of 11.0 and an average finishing position of 1.0 at the track. Nemechek led two laps en route to a victory on September 19, 2015.

Speedway Stats: In 21 combined NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts on speedways (tracks 1 to 2-miles in length), John Hunter Nemechek has recorded two victories (Chicago and Atlanta), nine top-five and 13 top-10 finishes. He has led for a total of 89 laps on NASCAR’s speedway tracks.

Race Rewind: Chicagoland Speedway … John Hunter Nemechek, earned his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory as he overcame plenty of adversity last year at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill., after starting 11th in the rain-delayed American Ethanol e15 225. The second-generation NASCAR driver stretched his last tank of fuel to the limit, running out of gas in Turn 4 and crossing the finish line 12.015 seconds over second place. Nemechek led two laps en route to win in his 23rd NASCAR Camping World Truck Series career start.

In the Rearview Mirror: Canadian Tire Motorsport Park … Driving the No. 8 Chevrolet Silverado for NEMCO Motorsports, John Hunter Nemechek battled on the last lap of the Chevrolet Silverado 250 to score his third career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory, his first at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. This was also Nemechek’s first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win on a road course. Nemechek was fast throughout the race weekend, posting top-five lap times in both practices on Saturday, September 3 at the 2.459-mile road course, and then qualifying 13th with a posted speed of 110.205 mph.

Season-to-date … Through the first 15 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races of the 2016 season, John Hunter Nemechek has completed 2153 of 2242 laps contested (96.0 percent), has led 81 laps and is currently eighth in the driver point standings. In addition, the NEMCO Motorsports driver has collected two victories (Atlanta, Canada), one pole award (Iowa), has four top-five and eight top-10 finishes, has spent 1,655 laps running in the top 15 and has made 607 green-flag passes thus far this season.
