This Week’s NEMCO Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado at the Bristol Motor Speedway … John Hunter Nemechek will pilot Chassis No. 034 in the UNOH 200 at the Bristol Motor Speedway. The Gere Kennon-led team last unloaded this NEMCO Motorsports prepared chassis at the Dover International Speedway on May 13 where they finished in the 15th-position after starting in the 19th-postion in the chassis’ second appearance of the 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season. Since 2014, Chassis No. 034 has four top-five finishes in 10 starts.

 

Battle in the Last Great Colosseum … This weekend marks John Hunter Nemechek’s third Bristol Motor Speedway appearance with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The Mooresville, N.C., driver has earned an average starting position of 10.0 and an average finishing position of 4.5 at the Bristol, Tenn., facility.

 

In the Loop at the Bristol Motor Speedway … John Hunter Nemechek has the second highest average running position (6.534) at the Bristol Motor Speedway of active NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers. In addition, Nemechek has the highest average green flag speed (116.191) among full-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers at the 0.533-mile oval track.

 

Short Track Stats: In 11 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts on short tracks (less than one mile in length), John Hunter Nemechek has recorded three top-five and five top-10 finishes, with an average starting spot of 11.6 and an average finish of 11.5 on these racetracks.

 

Race Rewind: Bristol Motor Speedway … John Hunter Nemechek, driver of the No. 8 MeetBall Chevrolet Silverado for NEMCO Motorsports, finished third in the UNOH 200 presented by ZLOOP NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Bristol Motor Speedway. Nemechek turned his second Bristol Motor Speedway start into his then career-best finish in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

 

In the Rearview Mirror: Pocono Raceway … John Hunter Nemechek, driver of the No. 8 Chevrolet Silverado for NEMCO Motorsports, finished ninth in the Pocono Mountains 150 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at the Pocono (Pa.) Raceway on July 30, 2016. Rain affected on-track activities early Saturday, canceling qualifying for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and the lineup was set by practice speeds. Nemechek started second for the Pocono Mountains 150, and by the halfway marker he was in the third position, but ultimately finished ninth in the 60-lap event.

 

Season-to-date … Through the first 12 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races of the 2016 season, John Hunter Nemechek has completed 1825 of 1876 laps contested (97.3 percent), has led 61 laps and is currently seventh in the driver point standings. In addition, the NEMCO Motorsports driver has collected one victory (Atlanta), has one pole award (Iowa) has three top-five and six top-10 finishes, has spent 1,407 laps running in the top 15 and has made 481 green-flag passes thus far this season.
