ACME Supermarkets Partners with John Hunter Nemechek at Virtual Dover Speedway in NASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series

NEMECHEK TALKS LATEST PRO INVITATIONAL SERIES EVENT AT DOVER:
"Everyone is getting better at iRacing. Guys like William Byron, Timmy Hill and some others are always going to be good. But, everyone is getting better, too, and it makes the iRacing events hard to win.
"It's cool to run up front. I've led some laps and it's been fun. It helps our partners to see their car leading on TV. We have ACME Supermarkets on the car this weekend with retail partners such as Essentia, Minute Rice, Nudges Dog Treats and Ziploc. It's a great program that we have and the people at ACME right now are working really hard. It will be cool to get them a win this weekend.
"I know that we're still having fun with iRacing, but I also think we're getting closer to racing. It may look different, but I know that our fans will be excited. Everyone is anxious to see us race and I'll be ready."

Berry's Bullets to Partner with John Hunter Nemechek for Talladega iRacing Event. Nemechek Talks Benefits of iRacing

NEMECHEK TALKS iRACING EVENTS
"I think we all knew when we started the Pro Invitational Series, this was going to be a series that was meant to fill the gap that we currently have while we're not on the real track. But, at the same time, if you take a group of highly competitive people and put them on a national stage like FOX, it's going to get serious. And, we're racing for our partners, too. We may not be getting paid, but there is pride.
"I think it's been good. A really good thing, because it keeps us and fans involved. We have to practice, we do media interviews, we do videos for our partners. It's as close to a race week as we have right now. It keeps you focused, even if it's not the real car. I think it has its benefits that sometimes you don't think about.
"We have Berry's Bullets on the No. 38 this weekend. We're fortunate to have different partners of our program, and they all understand that this iRacing platform is giving fans some entertainment right now. They have wanted to be a part of this and it's been fun to see the cars on FOX."

Speedy Cash Joins John Hunter Nemechek for Pro Invitational Series Event at Virtual Richmond

NEMECHEK ON VIRTUAL RICHMOND:
"I hope everyone is still staying safe. That's always the most important thing. But, we can also have this distraction of the NASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series and it's fun to be back this weekend. I came close at Bristol and the feeling is the same as it is in the real car- you want to win.
"We're back this weekend with Speedy Cash, another great partner of FRM. It's been fun to see the excitement our partners have when seeing their car in the iRacing platform and then see it on FOX. This is as realistic as we can make it without actually being at the track and in the car. It's different, but it's still exciting and I'm racing to win and represent all our partners.
"We are supporting the Ford Apollo project on the car this weekend, too. The Ford Motor Company has really taken a lead in making products for hospitals and those working on the front line of this pandemic. That's been great to see. We'll continue to keep doing what we need to do and until then, we'll have some fun on iRacing."

YANMAR America to Power John Hunter Nemechek in eNASCAR iRacing Event at Bristol

NEMECHEK ON VIRTUAL BRISTOL:
"It's so cool to see that NASCAR broke its own record last weekend for the most-viewed eSports event in U.S. TV history and I'm honored to be a part of that. This obviously isn't the situation anyone was hoping for or expecting, but the fact that we continue to come together each week to provide some entertainment and temporary relief from the everyday news says a lot about our racing community.
"Bristol is already such a challenging track for us in person and it will be interesting to see what it's like in a virtual race. The preferred line at Bristol tends to move around as the race goes on, and as we've seen over the last two weeks of the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series, anything can happen. That said, I'm feeling pretty good about our No. 38 Ford Mustang.
"I'm also really glad we are able to have our partners at YANMAR America with us on the car this weekend. I was just gutted for them after not being able to race at Atlanta. They're such a great group of people and I'm thankful for their outpouring of support for Front Row Motorsports since last year. I'm excited that we get to have them 'along for the ride' this weekend and look forward to the day when we can see the No. 38 YANMAR Ford Mustang on track in person, too."

John Hunter Nemechek Teams up with ROMCO for eNASCAR iRacing Event at Texas

NEMECHEK ON VIRTUAL TEXAS:
"I'm excited that the idea of hosting virtual races while we are not competing on track has taken off. It was a lot of fun being to participate in the inaugural event last weekend. We're fortunate to have this kind of alternative in our sport to engage with our fans and partners in this difficult time and I'm glad that NASCAR, iRacing and FOX Sports have been able to collaborate and turn this idea into reality.
"Honestly, it doesn't matter that we're not physically racing in person; as a driver, you just want to get out there and turn laps. We're still a very competitive group by nature and we all want to put on a great show for everyone watching.
"I want to thank our friends and partners at ROMCO for coming on board our No. 38 Ford Mustang this weekend at (virtual) Texas. They've been with our family for a long time and I'm happy that we still have the opportunity to run their hometown track with the ROMCO colors on board."

YANMAR America to Power Front Row Motorsports in 2020 Season

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (March 10, 2020) - Following a successful partnership in 2019, YANMAR America will increase its involvement with Front Row Motorsports (FRM) throughout the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season. The company will serve as the primary sponsor of John Hunter Nemechek and the No. 38 Ford Mustang team at Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend.

YANMAR, a global company based in Osaka, Japan with a North America headquarters in Adairsville, Ga., will also be the primary sponsor of Nemechek and the No. 38 Ford Mustang during the NASCAR All-Star weekend and the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May.  The YANMAR colors and branding will return to the No. 38 at Kentucky Motor Speedway in July.  In addition, YANMAR continues to be an associate sponsor of both the No. 38 and No. 34 team with driver Michael McDowell.
For over a century, YANMAR has grown to become a global leader in the design and manufacturing of advanced performance diesel engines and diesel-powered equipment, as well as gas engine-based energy systems. Closer to home, YANMAR diesel-powered generators are instrumental in operating FRM's team haulers at the track each week.
"We believe that the NASCAR fan base and our customers align perfectly," said Jeff Holland, Division Manager - Industrial Engine Division, YANMAR America. "The opportunity to continue and grow our partnership with Front Row Motorsports, John Hunter Nemechek and Michael McDowell, will help us reach more fans and educate them about our products and services.  This is an exciting time for YANMAR with this relationship."
In addition to helping power the team's haulers and serving as the primary sponsor this weekend, YANMAR is also continuing to work with FRM to produce "Inside Front Row Motorsports," a behind-the-scenes video series, featuring an exclusive look at the preparations involved in a typical race weekend for the team. The first installment of the series was released on FRM's YouTube channel in the fall.
"It's been a lot of fun working with the folks at YANMAR," said Nemechek. "As a driver, it means a lot to have a partner like them return for another year. Building our brands together, moving up through the Cup Series together, focusing on that opportunity and growing together - that's what it's all about."
The No. 38 YANMAR Ford Mustang will make its debut at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Friday, March 13 for practice. The NASCAR Cup Series race at the Atlanta Motor Speedway will air Sunday, March 15 at 2:00 p.m. ET on FOX.

Post-Race Report: Phoenix

No. 38 MDS Trucking Ford Mustang
Started: 26th
Finished: 25th
  • Stage One: 19th
  • Stage Two: 15th
  • Stage Three: 25th
  • John Hunter Nemechek took the green flag 26th in the FanShield 500 Sunday afternoon at Phoenix Raceway. His No. 38 MDS Trucking Ford Mustang was free to start the race and seemed to stay that way as he battled inside of the Top-25, later finishing Stage 1 in the 19th position.
  • Under the stage 1 caution, Nemechek pitted for 4 tires, fuel and a trackbar adjustment. A few laps into the second stage, Nemechek noted that he "needed more turn” and that the car was “having trouble rolling the center.” He would go on to finish Stage 2, 15th.
  • Under the Stage 2 caution, Nemechek’s No. 38 MDS Trucking Ford Mustang came to pit road for 4 tires, an air pressure adjustment and fuel. In the final stage, Nemechek looked strong as he ran inside of the Top-20, before being collected in a late race accident that forced him to pit under caution for 4 tires. Nemechek would take the green-white checkered restart from the 25th position. Unable to make a strong push towards the front with so few laps remaining, Nemechek took the checkered flag from the 25th position.
Nemechek on Phoenix:
  • “It was a very frustrating weekend at Phoenix Raceway. Our No. 38 MDS Trucking Ford Mustang didn’t unloaded the greatest on Friday, so my guys had to take some pretty big swings at the car to try and find speed. I felt like we made some good improvements and thought that the car was pretty decent on Saturday during our qualifying run. Today, the car started out free, but again, my guys did a great job of getting it dialed in and we were competitive inside of the Top-15 for most of the race before being part of a late race accident that forced us to pit for tires with only 2 laps remaining in the race. We just ran out of time to make a charge towards the front again, at the end. I’m ready to put Phoenix behind us and head to Atlanta Motor Speedway next weekend.”
