Quotes:
"I'm excited to head to Homestead this weekend. We got the opportunity to go down and test there a few months back and I felt like it was really successful. We have been on a solid run streak for the last couple races and hopefully that momentum will carry over to the final race of the season and end it on a positive note. This season has been a roller-coaster ride of emotions so to finish strong for Maury (Gallagher, owner) and the GMS Racing guys would be a great way to end out the year."

We made the right adjustments all day and I'm glad it went green because we had a long-run car, for sure, and if there would have been a caution I don't think we would have ended up fourth. Solid day overall and I can't thank everyone at GMS Racing and Maury Gallagher for giving me this opportunity. I'm looking to close out the end of the year strong."

Quotes:
"I am excited about heading to Kansas Speedway this weekend with the No. 23 group. Kansas holds a special place in my heart after collecting my first Xfinity Series win there in 2019 with Chip-Ganassi Racing. I enjoy the track a lot. After it was repaved in 2012 a lot of drivers were nervous that it would take a while to gain its characteristics back, but I feel like it has actually matured quite nicely and it widens out pretty well. We have a special pink FAS scheme this weekend in honor of breast cancer awareness and will have pink ribbons displayed on the car of sponsors and GMS family members names that are breast cancer survivors, fighters and those no longer with us. We are racing for a cause this weekend and it would be awesome to park those names in Victory Lane."

"It was awesome to be able to make the playoffs for Maury and this GMS Racing team but I'm disappointed that we didn't advance into the next round. It came down to mistakes and we messed up on pit road which hurt us. We did what we needed to do in both of the stages and outpointed the No. 1 of Annett but it just wasn't mean't to be. We had a solid day and brought home another top-10 but it wasn't enough to advance. We will move on and head to Kansas Speedway in a few weeks."

Quotes:
"Dover is an awesome place to race at because the track is so intense and brutal, mentally and physically. We had a solid showing there in the Spring and every track that we have gone back to this year we have improved at. We made up some ground, points wise, last weekend at The ROVAL to put us tied with the No. 19 and 11 points behind Michael Annett who is right above the Round of 8 cut off line. We need to unload with some speed of the hauler and focus on gaining as many points as we can so that we can advance."

Roval Recap

START: 14th
FINISH: 7th
POINTS: 9th

Notes & Quotes:

The GMS Racing team elected for Nemechek not to pit before Stage One ended and finished in the sixth-position, collecting five stage points. In Stage Two, Nemechek was involved in a multi-car incident on the start and had to pit for tires. The team gambled for Nemechek not to pit before the stage concluded but came up one spot short to end Stage Two in the 11th-position. For the final stage, Nemechek capitalized on the late race restarts and ended the race in seventh-position. This was Nemechek's first start at the ROVAL and the teams 14th top-10 this season.
- Nemechek heads into the final race of the Round of 12 in the ninth-position with a total of 2,062 points, 11 points behind Michael Annett who is in the eighth-position.
"The goal was to stay mistake free and let everyone else make them. Besides one hiccup in our day we were able to recover early and bring home a seventh-place finish. There was a lot of beating and banging out there and not a lot of real-estate on the track but it was a lot of fun. We were pretty good on our first run and then not so good on our second but got better for the final stage and we capitalized the late race restarts and had a solid finish and points day. I believe that we are in a decent points position going into Dover next weekend."
