Fire Alarm Servies, Inc., Partners with NEMCO Motorsports for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Chase

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (September 13, 2016)—NEMCO Motorsports announced today a continued relationship with Fire Alarm Services, Inc., (FAS). As part of the agreement, the NEMCO Motorsports No. 8 Chevrolet Silverado will carry the Fire Alarm Services, Inc., brand as the primary sponsor for five NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) competition events with driver John Hunter Nemechek.

Motor Speedway, Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway, Phoenix (Ariz.) International Raceway and the Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway.

For the UNOH 175 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on September 24, the Fire Alarm Services, Inc., Chevrolet Silverado will feature a neon yellow and black paint scheme. The yellow paint scheme will also be featured at the Talladega Superspeedway and the Homestead-Miami Speedway NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events.

 

In the primary appearance at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, as well as at the Phoenix International Raceway, the Fire Alarm Services, Inc., Chevrolet Silverado will be neon green and black.

 

Earlier this season, Nemechek was victorious at the Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway, and at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, securing the 19-year old early in this year's inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Chase. Nemechek has four top-five finishes, as well as eight top-10 finishes, with an average starting position of 13.3 and producing an average finishing position of 11.3 across 15 starts for NEMCO Motorsports in 2016.

 

Fire Alarm Services, Inc., received primary sponsor placement on the No. 8 Chevrolet Silverado at the Texas Motor Speedway, Iowa Speedway, and at the Gateway Motorsports Park earlier this season with NEMCO Motorsports. At the Iowa Speedway on June 18, Fire Alarm Services, Inc., was part of Nemechek’s career-first 21 Means 21 Pole Award in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

This Week's NEMCO Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado at the Michigan International Speedway ... John Hunter Nemechek will pilot Chassis No. 041 in the Careers for Veterans 200 presented by Cooper Standard and Brad Keselowski's Checkered Flag Foundation at the Michigan International Speedway. The Gere Kennon-led team last unloaded this NEMCO Motorsports prepared chassis at the Pocono (Pa.) Raceway on July 30 where they finished in the ninth-position after starting in the second-position in the chassis’ fourth appearance of the 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season. In the chassis’ four starts (Charlotte Motor Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, Kentucky Speedway and Pocono Raceway) with John Hunter Nemechek, it has an average finishing position of 7.5.

(BMC) brand as the primary sponsor on Saturday, August 27 at the Michigan International Speedway. Welcome to the Irish Hills ... This weekend marks John Hunter Nemechek’s second Michigan International Speedway appearance with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The Mooresville, N.C., driver has earned an average starting position of 17.0 and an average finishing position of 12.0 at the Brooklyn, Mich., facility.

 

Speedway Stats: In 21 combined NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts on speedways (tracks 1 to 2-miles in length), John Hunter Nemechek has recorded two victories (Chicago and Atlanta), nine top-five and 13 top-10 finishes. He has led for a total of 89 laps on NASCAR’s speedway tracks.

 

Race Rewind: Michigan International Speedway … John Hunter Nemechek, driver of the No. 8 SWM-NEMCO Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado for NEMCO Motorsports, finished 12th-place in the Careers for Veterans 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn. An ill-handling Silverado and a pit road penalty on Lap 30 for an uncontrolled tire forced him toward the back of the lead lap trucks, where heavy traffic created obstacles for Nemechek’s debut at the track.

 

In the Rearview Mirror: Bristol Motor Speedway ... John Hunter Nemechek, driver of the No. 8 Chevrolet Silverado for NEMCO Motorsports, finished eighth in the UNOH 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at the Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway on August 17, 2016. Nemechek started in the 16th-postion for the UNOH 200, and by Lap 50 he was scored in the 20th-place. The 19 year-old maneuvered to the third position with less than 30 laps remaining in the 200-lap event. With no radio communication to his spotter on the final restart on Lap 194, Nemechek was shuffled back and ultimately finished in the eighth-place.

 

Season-to-date … Through the first 13 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races of the 2016 season, John Hunter Nemechek has completed 2025 of 2076 laps contested (97.5 percent), has led 61 laps and is currently eighth in the driver point standings. In addition, the NEMCO Motorsports driver has collected one victory (Atlanta), one pole award (Iowa), has three top-five and seven top-10 finishes, has spent 1,562 laps running in the top 15 and has made 520 green-flag passes thus far this season.
