Notes:

- John Hunter Nemechek and GMS Racing will utilize chassis no. 224 this weekend at Pocono Raceway. This chassis has been ran twice this season by Nemechek. Once at Atlanta Motor Speedway (start: 10th/finish:) and most recently at Auto Club Speedway (start:/finish:).

- Nemechek is currently second in Sunoco Rookie of the Year points, 11 points behind Chase Briscoe in first place.

Quotes:

“Pocono is a really fun track because it's like no other track on the NASCAR circuit. It's a challenge for not only the drivers but for the crew chiefs and teams as well. All three turns are different, so it makes the setup difficult to nail in all three corners. We showed some speed last weekend at Charlotte and I know that this 23 team have been working really hard to prepare this car. Hopefully we can get back up to the front and compete for a win in our ISM Connect Chevy."

Charlotte Recap

Notes & Quotes:
- Nemechek finished 10th in Stage One and fourth in Stage Two, collecting eight playoffs point.
- Nemechek is currently scored in seventh-place in the driver standings and is 11 points behind Chase Briscoe who is in sixth-place.
- In the Owners points standings, GMS Racing is currently eighth with 358 points and is 11 points behind Biagi-DenBeste Racing in seventh-place.

“Up and down day for us at Charlotte. We didn't have the best qualifying effort but Chad (Norris, crew chief) and the GMS Racing guys built me a fast Fire Alarm Services Chevrolet for the race. We showed that we have the speed to compete with the top-competitors in the series. This 12th-place finish is a hard one to swallow since we had a top-five finishing car. We led some laps but we had to come from the back of the field twice because we had two tires that went down. I am proud of this team and how much hard work they put in this weekend. They never gave up. We have to keep our heads up and show them what we got in Pocono this coming weekend."

- Nemechek finished 10th in Stage Two, collecting one playoff point.
- Nemechek's eighth-place finish at Dover International Speedway was his and the GMS Racing Xfinity team’s eighth top-10 this season.

- In the Owners points standings, GMS Racing is currently eighth with 325 points and is 10 points behind Biagi-DenBeste Racing in seventh-place.
“Hard fought day for our eighth-place finish at Dover. Our Fire Alarm Services Chevrolet was a little bit off to start the weekend off but I am proud of the fight from the GMS team. I messed up on pit road and sped which put us back on track position but rebounded and brought home another top-10 after digging deep.”
